Our Farm

We are first generation cattle ranchers, our love and passion for farming became a reality in the year 2020. We have lived on our property for over twenty years. Never imagined we would own livestock, much less have pasture, or manage almost 80 head of cattle. For two young adults, purchasing land was just a way to get away from the city living so to speak, raise a family. The talk of farming was never a thought, until our youngest daughter enrolled into the agricultural program at her High School. We never imagined the impact this ultimately would have for our family’s future, until Madison brought home two Boer goat babies for us to foster. From there, like wild fire the next few years we would own over fourteen Boer goats, over thirty- five chickens, eight ducks, several bee hives eventually we were given our first bull calf. We affectionately named him, Oxford Wellington. A small Hereford, red and while bull who literally fit inside a dog crate at the time was unfortunately rejected by his mother. She wouldn’t allow him to nurse, we happily added him to our farm. Bottle fed him for months, created his own pasture. Bought him two miniature Donkeys, Ferdinand and Penny to be his pasture mates until we found more suitable calves his age to expand our dream. Over the span of 2020 to 2024 we ultimately decided the goats, chickens, and ducks weren’t our dream. So we made the decision to solely breed, harvest, and maintain cattle and our honey bees on our farm. We have expanded into purchasing and breeding Wagyu cattle as well as our beloved Angus breeds. We formed our first company name, Streyffeler Acres LLC and recently rebranded to Coastal Cattle Company. The goal is and has always been to provide the best quality of life for our cattle, so that our customers receive the highest value in their beef purchase with us. Not only in terms of cost, but quality, texture, taste, and affordability. We take immense pride in our products, our animals, and our love for our community. We welcome friends at the farm, as our herd loves having visitors! We pride ourselves on transparency, honesty, compassion, and integrity when it comes to our farm. Allow us to be a part of your next family dinner, party or event, or holiday.
